The school focuses on the holistic development of the students and therefore emphasizes on the extra-curricular activities apart from the regular studies. These include the following activities.
The students are divided into four houses namely HOPE, LOVE, UNITY and PEACE. Inter – house competitions are held on regular basis to cultivate the feelings and spirit of team work, healthy competition and sportsmanship.
All the national and religious festivals are celebrated with complete fervor in the customary and cultural way involving complete participation of the students and staff. Apart from these, Annual Concert, Sports day, Founder’s Day and Craft and Science Exhibition cum Fete are also celebrated with fun and frolic.
The students at KPS participate in various activities such as dance, singing, dramatics, essay writing, debate, quiz, elocution, hands on workshops, model making and sports as per the annual ECA calendar.
In order to nurture the talents of our students and to provide them a platform to share their ideas with like-minded friends, the school has formed various clubs such as the Eco Club, Literary Club, Social Service Club, Health and Wellness Club, Disaster Management Club, etc.
KPS believes in the saying “All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy” and therefore the school organizes picnics, nature study trips, excursion tours and visits to local historical places along with the academics. This helps our students learn outside the boundaries of the school and gives them a broader practical view of the world.
