The school believes in serving the society selflessly with a noble intention to contribute towards building the nation. The school has adopted the surrounding rural area to provide free support in the field of literacy and healthcare through its following initiatives.
The Kriti Shiksha is a step taken by the Kriti Public School to ensure that every child gets basic education. Under this scheme, KPS provides free of cost education to the underprivileged children of the area. Apart from imparting education to these children without charging any fees, the school also provides books, other stationery and uniform to these students free of cost. Even under the free education scheme, we maintain a healthy teacher: student ratio of 1:30 and run batches on an average with about 30 students each. Brilliant students under this scheme are transferred to the regular classes based on their performance.
"A healthy mind dwells in a healthy body" Keeping this thought in mind, we at KPS invite doctors every Saturday in the school campus to provide basic diagnosis and healthcare to the residents of the area. This facility is available for all the local people irrespective of their socio – economic status and age. In addition to the free medical consultation from qualified doctors, the school also provides medicines to the patients without any charge. We are pleased to help more than 125 patients on an average every week.
We strongly believe that a progressive society is one where everyone is equally empowered and therefore we run programs focusing on women empowerment. These are executed in two segments.
Under the able guidance of our Honorable Prime Minister and his campaign of Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao, we promote the education of the girl child. The school does not charge any admission fees and processing fees for female students. Also, the admission form is available free of cost for the girl child.
The local women in the area are encouraged and invited to the school premises to learn various skills so that they can be independent and support their families as well. These skills include training in tailoring, weaving, stitching, basket making. Also, we impart basic literacy sessions to the rural women.
